Barbie Time

We had a lovely time with my aunt and uncle, round for fish and chips and a catch up. Unfortunately mom was laid up in bed with a migraine after having an hour of drilling a root canal yesterday!
In the evening han and I had booked to see Barbie at The Electric (the oldest working cinema in the UK), Luce couldn't resist and came too! I have so many wonderful memories of nights at this cinema. They have a bar and homemade cakes, all their cocktails are named after films (I had a 'last of the mojitos' & han had 'cool rummings'), marinated olives as snacks etc... There's just something different about this place and I'm so glad our money went there rather than a huge chain. If you're in Birmingham, get yourself down there!
I loved the film, touching, funny, thought provoking.

Today I'm grateful for;
1) Mom and Dad looking after Nate whilst Danny saw his friend and I went to the cinema.
2) Being back at The Electric and all the memories I have of the place.
3) Finding mom and Nate swinging in the hammock writing a story together.
