The Pleasance

The Edinburgh Fringe Festival has just begun, so we were at the opening gala of the Pleasance shows at the Grand.

There were a good eclectic mix of tasters of forthcoming shows over the next three weeks. My personal favourite were the Spanish troupe called ‘A Comedy of Operas’, who fuse pop hits with the world’s favourite arias. We will probably go and see their show.

The show was compered by comedian Darren Harriott, who was very good at holding it all together.

We also met Levi Roots, of Reggae Reggae sauce fame, who was lovely (see extra).

We have intermittent heavy shows today in between  the grey skies.

Have a good day all.
