fire station
Our last morning in Treisberg started with blue sky and sunshine. The place is tiny with 186 inhabitants and only a single road that leads to it. It does have a fire station. We all went our separate ways. This time we were prepared and had phoned for the bus to pick us up to take us to the train station. A mini bus arrived on time. We caught an early train back to Frankfurt. The boys went South, we headed North back to Berlin. Got back as arranged, sorted the washing and restocked the fridge.
We had a very lovely time in the Taunus. It was great to catch up with family. We had an action packed time with lots of lovely walks. The weather could have been a little drier but better this way rather than scorching hot.
All photos now in a flickr album.
