Toom Tabards

The idea originally was for daughter#1 and I to swim at Porty with the Blue Tits but because we arrived too early we just went in on our own. It was lovely, the sea was warmer than Orkney mainly because the water near the shore with the tide out was fairly shallow. We stayed in the water for at least 20minutes and of course there were handstands to be done before we came out. I did meet 4 Blue Tits who were going in as we came out, who told me the introductory day for newbies is tomorrow. I can’t do that so I will have to wait until the next introductory day next month.

Some of the family arrived in the afternoon to say farewell to George, Robynn and Julia who fly home tomorrow. We sat outside where Julia was insistent on eating grass. It seems a rare  commodity In Sharjah. She was also interested in small crumbs of a soggy rich tea biscuit. She seemed more than happy to be passed  around the assemble company and kept smiling…….. except for the picture of the 4 generations!

When they left I met with my neighbours for a postponed TGIF drink, catching up with 2months of news before going to Söderberg for sourdough pizzas with Daughters #1&3. It’s been an action packed Saturday which I’ve thoroughly enjoyed but I am now officially exhausted.
