Toyota Stout 2000

This vehicle is parked near the local mechanics specialising in rust and vehicular transformations. Only when I researched Stout 2000 as per the badge did I realise it's a Toyota. 

I found an article dated 7 March 1979 from Toyota with the headline 'Toyota Stout Undergoes Full Model Change', the first since 1960. The changes included dual lamp headlights and a bigger (wrap-around) windscreen. The one in my photo must therefore be no earlier than 1979. It has seen better days, clearly unregistered, poor patchy duco and the back window is missing.

Another 1979 change was compliance with 1979 emissions and noise standards. I daresay they've come along since then.
