Australia v Denmark (back lip)

Last night DIL J and I went to see the the FIFA Women's World Cup soccer match. Dear friends invited us and others to join them in a box they booked for the event. We got the VIP treatment in a delightful room with refreshments catered, for a couple of hours before the match, followed by a bird's eye view of the game. Australia won, so we're through to the quarter final.

Australia and New Zealand are cohosting the FIFA Women's World Cup 2023. The photo shows the series 'flag' which also acknowledges the first nations Wangal people on whose land Stadium Australia stands. It would have made a good drone shot but instead I took it from level 3 of the stadium. 

What a fun night it was. Went to bed (eventually) tired but happy.
