Light and Dark

The sun stage, "Solscenen", around midnight.  Once the sun has gone down and the sky grows darker things get much more interesting from a photography viewpoint. We are helped there by the long, long twilight. Just now the actual sunset is about 21:40, but nearly two and a half hours later there is still light in the sky. The darkest moment is at 01:00.
However, the white nights are now over for this year. Even as I took this picture there was a single star in the sky, and when the sky is cloudy it gets really dark, if only for a short while.
The festival is now over and we've listened to some wonderful music, from so many parts of the world. It's seven years since we were last here but we've decided to book tickets and a campsite as soon as it's possible next year. God willing, back in 2024.
