A long and tiring day but on the whole enjoyable.
A Sunday shift at the shop which improved as the day went on, the rain cleared and we managed to have an ice cream in the sun in the afternoon.
Home to drop the bags off, a quick change of clothes and the picnic bag packed ready to head off to Calke Abbey for the outdoor cinema showing of the Greatest Showman. Enjoyed our picnic, Prosecco and cocktails whilst the crowd built up. Lovely to see so many families enjoying themselves and the atmosphere was great. A bit on the chilly side, fleeces definitely needed as the film didn’t finish until 11.
Captured the deer in the grounds of the abbey, they were very quick and appeared to be a little camera shy.
