Folk royalty

This is Martin Simpson, one of our most celebrated folk singers (and a brilliant guitarist), performing at The Royal Foresters in Ascot. He was showing his support for Matthew Bannister of Folk on Foot, who is walking 180 miles in two weeks to raise funds in aid of Help for Musicians. Matthew started his walk at the Wickham Folk Festival in Hampshire on Friday and will finish at the FolkEast Festival on the Suffok coast. Every night along the way he stops over at a pub and is joined by a folk artist or artists performing a few songs. Martin sang three,  notwithstanding the background noise coming from what was a busy pub/restaurant. They'll be posted on YouTube later this evening and are well worth a listen.
