Kanimbla Again

This image shows the Kanimbla Valley and the Shipley Plateau beyond as viewed from Mitchells Ridge near Mt Victoria. I feel I should keep posting Blue Mountains blips while the winter light lasts. In about 6 weeks time, for most of a day, the light will start to get quite harsh and will be coming from too high an angle in the sky to provide satisfactory colour saturation for such local landscapes. 

I fear that this is another image which should be viewed against a dark screen in LARGE. Our eyes stop down in response to a white screen, rendering darker areas in an image posted onto it, hard to decipher.
