Nearly Home, Hermitage Lane, Aylesford

Due to my brother's car being kaput at the moment I have to go two more stations along the line before I can get off my evening rush hour train. I then have to walk from Barming to Aylesford which takes about twenty minutes. Luckily, for my tired bones it's all down hill. This sign marks the border between the two (I'd never spotted the cat before!). Unfortunately, many of the car drivers using Hermitage Lane do not "drive carefully". A fair few of them bomb it down, making it a rather dangerous road to cross when it's busy, especially as there is no zebra crossing.
Today was not very warm,  with slate grey skies and added showers. Come on summer, where are you?!?
