Stands Out

You can see this tree from all along Falmouth seafront and other parts of the town. It stands out quite well and I have been asked if it is a ‘marker tree’ in that it was a guide to a specific location, unlikely, a century ago there was no lower cemetery and few trees, I guess it just grew this way.
Meanwhile today has been a quiet day, Monday, a while ago I’d have been full of trepidation, today I embrace the day.

And so it was today, after a quiet day I set off for the boatyard for a Great River Race training row. Three hours on the water, two and a half of which was rowing from Penryn to the King Harry Ferry and back, 2.5 hours to cover 15 miles.
Great Day
