2023 Wednesday — Where are We?

Our friends, Becky & Steve, live in the state of Arizona near Phoenix. They spend their summers traveling in their RV in cooler areas to get away from the desert’s high temperatures.

Since early June they have been traveling the coast of California. Their first night was San Diego.

Today they were heading into a place to park their vehicle for the next 10 days just north of Santa Barbara.

Then after Santa Barbara, they will park their RV in Pismo Beach on August 20th for one month, which is sort of in our region.

I was texting with Becky today, trying to explain that Pismo Beach and Cayucos are approximately a 40 driving minutes distance from each other. So I did a screenshot of the map on my phone and sent it to her. I’m making it my Blip for the day so you don’t have to see another poppy photo.

Maps are a way of organizing wonder.
