Kitson

Day trip! I'm not sure why I've never been to Cambridge before.. it's only about an hour and a half away, and I've been there in the evening for gigs, but never actually in to the town. What a fool! It's unbelievably pretty, and picture-perfect. We had a picnic for lunch and then went punting on the river, which is something I've wanted to do for years. I hadn't expected how low you sit in the water, but the boats were surprisingly comfy. We didn't brave the self-punt option this time, and went for the safer shared tour trip! Afterwards we had an ice cream and walk around the town before getting a pub dinner and heading off to see Daniel Kitson. His latest show it brilliant. I've lost count of how many times I've seen him, but this is definitely one of the best stand-ups (though he was technically seated) that I've seen him do.
