Grey Heron

There was a big football match last night and as the stadium is almost next door to the park there would have been a lot of noise. This put off the heron appearing this morning. I guess the male adult has seen it all before because he flew straight over from the viewing platform.. He got a pretty undisturbed feed as there were only a couple of crows (although more appeared later). I made my way round the loch but couldn't see the lame moorhen either. I was about to leave but looked down and like yesterday it was staring up at me. I have no idea where it appears from. I fed it then mad my way back. I have little doubt the others will be back tomorrow!
