Back to the big top to see Dara O'Briain. 

He kicked off his show by observing that North Berwick must have some brass neck, being 25 minutes from the world's biggest arts festival and thinking "no, we'll make them come here."  He also observed that the town's name in Gaelic meant "weird fuckin' hill" before speculating that Berwick Law was actually an alien ship. 

As he pointed out, it was ten minutes of material he could never use again. 

Very much enjoyed the show. Support act was good too: the last time we saw him was in a pub in Haddington, so I imagine this was a pretty big gig for him. 

As I was heading to the bar, I was struck again by the way the trees were lit up with green lights. Which is kind of odd, since trees are green anyway.
