X marks the spot

Herbie is back and has made his mark.
 
 
Last week Herbie got a bit poorly.  He had no energy and gave up mowing after half an hour or so.  I suspected that he had tummy problems and took him to the specialist to get his tummy looked at.
 
Or to put it another way his four year old battery had seen better days so a replacement was required.  It had to be ordered in so I had him ‘serviced’ while we waited for delivery (a minor one, Colin knows I prefer to do my own, but I can’t update the firmware or carry out diagnostics without the specialist gear) and he was ready yesterday.
 
As you can see a week’s worth of growth leaves a lot for Herbie to tackle.  His cut is actually turned up quite high, and I’ll lower it a bit at a time over the next day or so – he only takes little nibbles.
