What a day!?!

Started last night with the decision do I get up extra early to walk the dogs before work, or do I have an extra half hour in bed and leave the dogs at home? I had to be the far side of Newquay to pick up lobsters at 7:30. Which meant getting to the hatchery by 6:40.
The dogs won, as I don't like leaving them all day unless I really have to (they do have the whole house and a secure garden at home, with my neighbour checking on them)
After getting back to work with the lobsters I then found a severely leaking multi value port and this was draining one of the systems. I tried everything I knew but couldn't fix it (annoying as it was a brand new one only fitted a few months ago) so unfortunately had to ring my line manager. After a chat with him he tried to find one in Cornwall, but to no avail, so the only option was to block the out pipe. I couldn't find enough bits in the correct size to do a decent job, (the hatchery is so under funded) so it was a bodge job with thick plastic fish bags, PTFE tape and cable ties.
I didn't use that photo as it was very boring, so you have one of the sand extraction from outside the harbour.
At least the sun was shining
