Happy Maternity Leave!

My colleague finished up today to go on Maternity leave. She didn't want a fuss made, so rather than go out for dinner I decided that we would have afternoon tea and cake. We decorated the room all pretty and a friend baked the awesome cake in the middle. All in all it was a lovely success.

I was at a NUS Parliamentary reception in the evening, I had meant to take a photo while I was there but totally forgot. These receptions are nice, but are always incredibly hot and stuffy! Thankfully I remembered that this time and dressed accordingly!
