Polemonium ex Lambrook Mauve
It started off wet, having rained quite heavily overnight. That was ok. I had to join a Teams meeting first thing. It was already quite a bit brighter when I went swimming at 11am (see extra) and it has continued bright and hot for the rest of the day. Much of this was spent outside, mainly enjoying the fruits of our labours (and purchases). I did buy a few more herbs from the local garden centre to plant in the herb "garden" and I also moved one plant (and latterly formed a plan tomorrow to move another one). We had someone come round to look at our fences with a view to giving us a quotation for replacing the bits that need replacing. Two other people are supposed to give us quotations, but it was the person who was personally recommended by a fellow swimmer who came first - and at the time he said he would come round.
Other than that, we sat in the garden and drank beer and munched crisps, ate a venison curry which I produced out of the kitchen, and moved between the front and the back in order to enjoy all vistas. It was a funky and largely lazy way to finish my week "off".
