A Retail Tableau

Being without my car (see yesterday's blip) means the majority of my images over the next few days will be taken accompanying my brother on his walk up to the station to catch his train to London first thing in the morning or on the return perambulation home.
I wasn't too happy with anything I had taken until I spotted this sign outside the retail park on the last part of my walk. It's supposed to represent all the various consumer goods that you can purchase from the multitude of retail outlets.
A tableau is meant to be a group of models or motionless figures representing a scene from a story or from history or a picturesque grouping of persons or objects so I'm not sure I've used exactly the right terminology here but it sounds more fancy as a title!
To me it looks more like a 21st century cave painting that future generations might come across and have to decipher but may be a pale comparison to historical depictions of bison, aurochs or wooly mammoths! :-)
