We’d planned a beach day today but after realising yesterday that we both somehow forgot phone chargers (we had cables and adapters but no actual plugs) we headed into Split instead.

Had to stand up for the whole bus ride there, but had some amazing views while zigzagging up out of the valley. First stop was to find a charger, then went for a drink to celebrate. Now we had battery sorted Matt became tourist Matt and took lots of photos. We walked up Marjan Hill before it got too hot for some amazing views, and so nice that the walk there took us away from the super touristy city centre.

Had an absolutely beautiful lunch in a little square (Matt’s meal of the week, and my cocktail of the week - in extras) then spent the afternoon wandering around the city. The queue for the cathedral and palace had miraculously disappeared so we went in there too (nice and cool).

Had some afternoon wine in the sun, then to a vegan restaurant for dinner. It was tasty but quite pricy for small portions. Caught the shuttle bus back to Omiš afterwards.
