A colourful gathering

There was a rather colourful ceremony taking place in front of the town hall in Soulac-sur-Mer this morning.
I'm not exactly sure what it was all about, but it was some sort of annual inauguration of members into something called 'Le Confrérie Gastronomique du Cèpe de la Pointe du Médoc'. 
There was a rather raucous brass band which accompanied the procession along the sea front and to the town hall. 
A rather whacky, but fun event!
