The Corn is as High as an Elephant's Eye
But we weren't in Oklahoma. Instead we'd picked up William from Leicester and driven to Oscar's Pumpkin Patch on the East Leake-Costock road. Len amused me by declaring that he hadn't wanted to go anywhere so rural. I didn't consider it really rural because it's halfway between Loughborough and Nottingham.
They've certainly done themselves proud with the maize maze. We only attempted the mini-maze. Neither William nor Len wanted to try the whole thing and I wasn't capable of tackling it.
More excitingly for William was jumping off the hay bales especially when more kids turned up who he could talk to.
We didn't bring Edward who turns two on 12th August but we were able to hand over the cuddly kangaroos sent to him and William by Auntie Pam in Australia.
