Build Me Up, Buttercup, don't let me down.

We started fast this morning. so much to achieve in a short day.

Straight up to the allotment, pick the peas (which we forgot to bring home) , pick some Edamame beans, (brought home)  frnech beans, , kale, potatoes, and a bunch of Sweet peas to make up for yesterday's refusal to buy them at £8 a bunch.

up to B&Q to change the staples Si bought for his dangerous staple gun.   I found another flower and promptly walked into my favorite florist with the big pot in my arms (it was justified, it was marked down half price since yesterday.).

I told her to pretend she hadn't seen me.

They didn't have the things Si needed, and they told us to go to Screwfix.  We were overawed. We did not realise there was an actual Screwfix you could visit.  I thought this would be a massive treat for Si, because there is nothing he loves more than buckets and buckets of screws and washers and bolts.

It was a sad disappointment for them.   There were no buckets of screws or bolts or even washers.  it was all automated.  Ask the man, and he found the stuff behind the counter and brought it forward.  Dang.

Down to my office to inspect the Pallets which I had selected for re-patriation into fencing at the allotment.

It started raining quite hard so we came home then.

I washed the carrots, the french beans, and the soya beans, boiled the soya beans, and chopped up the kale.   Had a cup of tea and a donut, and now I am going to make millionaire shortbread. I hope.  This week is going to be a lot of baking. I intend to enter as many options as possible at next weeks Show!

WOOOOOHOOOOO
