Tamar lakes
A gentle wander around Upper Tamar lake today, some yacht racing, plenty of Canada geese, a family of Great Crested Grebes, a Sparrow Hawk, Reed Bunting and the usual Cormorants. Hazel nuts are prolific everywhere in the Devon countryside and here is no exception.
Blackberries kept us nourished along the lakeside stroll before a pot of tea and the essential cake in the cafe there.
We spotted the derelict shed on the journey back home.
Fascinatingly I visited the same location on the same date last year for ParkRun.

Note:
Today the reservoir level was 100%, then it was just 50%!!
