Golden Gems

The remains first few greengages from the allotment. They are sweet and delicious so most have been consumed. It’s the first year the tree has produced fruit. Very pleased.

Not so happy about feeling unwell today. Sore throat and chest, and not much energy. It’s been coming on for a few days. Yesterday I tried to ignore it but today I’ve had to sit back and rest.

It’s been a warm day but typical of the last month or so with downpours first thing this morning, then a strong breeze with sunshine.
