Wound up in Wexford

By Neatwithice

The sky won again!

We've both continued beavering away in our respective workrooms.

W sanded and varnished the unit he's been making for beside his desk.  It will hold the printer, and most of our rather excessive paper supplies!  It may get blipped once it is in situ and loaded.  I went out to see how he was getting on after I'd packed up my sewing for the day and got roped in to helping out with the last bit - fastening some thin ply onto the back.  And then assisted with carrying it upstairs, where the two parts are now stored on the landing.

We also spent some time planning W's next job - the construction of a small unit for beside my desk, to hold the bass speaker and the printer.  Smaller, but a bit complicated as I want to be able to access it from two sides.

I tidied away the stuff from yesterday's completed quilt, and pulled out the next unfinshed object.  I finished piecing together a top, and fully intended to blip it, having stood on a ladder to take a photo of it laid out on the floor - but the spectacular evening sky won out again!  The quilt will still be there tomorrow, the sky was short lived.
