NOAA back blip

This small ship Thomas Jefferson has been sailing around the river for a week now. Back and forth. It tied up at the school where I used to work for a while. Here is a bit of info from Wikipedia:
"NOAAS Thomas Jefferson (S 222) is a National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) hydrographic survey vessel in service since 2003. The ship was built for the United States Navy as USNS Littlehales (T-AGS-52) serving as one of two new coastal hydrographic survey vessels from 1992 until transfer to NOAA in 2003 when it was named after Founding Father and third U.S. president, Thomas Jefferson."
Hubby got the boat motor repaired so we took her out for some evening fishing. We kept 38 perch. Called it an early night at 9:30 pm because we were both tired. Night fishing is nice because it is cooler, no sunburn and the gentle breeze kept the bugs away. The fish seem to bite a little better too!
