at Joppa

Cycle ride out by the Meadows, the Innocent tunnel, and Brunstane to Joppa. Coffee at the Portobello end of the promenade, then back by Seafield, Restalrigs, and Leith Walk.  Warm in the sun where it was sheltered, jacket required when it was cloudy and breezier. 

Some very heavy rain in the early afternoon, and a thunderclap. Early evening walk around the long blocks in the New Town.
