The Ben

After work I jumped in the car and headed for the hills. There has been a big route I've wanted to do for a long time and today's the day : Aonach Mor and Aonach Beag then onto the Grey Corries ridge which snakes along to Spean Bridge. These are some pretty big hills and the neighbours are impressive too. This shot was taken from Aonach Beag - the highest point on my hike at 1,234mt - looking across the neighbouring glen to Ben Nevis. Carn Mor Dearg and The CMD Arete can be seen sweeping round to the The Ben.


After my first two peaks I dropped down some 500mt to the bealach which separates The Anoachs and The Grey Corries, and set up camp for the night.
