Better day

Picture is one I took yesterday of hydrangeas - lovely variety (Annabelle) but they do tend to flop over and need staking?

Today started with a couple of hours gardening and weeding. OH weeded 'his' garden and planted his new echinacea and daisy plant - should be more colour next year in the front garden.  I did some weeding and continued my fight with bind weed.  Late breakfast/brunch before OH headed off to golf with JC and No.1 met friends for an afternoon of pottery painting.  Previous LC member of staff now running a successful business and No.1 enjoyed a 'crafty' afternoon.  The pottery business has expanded and they now offer courses in all things pottery so I might just take a look?  

I cleared away breakfast and did a bit of cleaning then headed off to Sainsbury to get some ingredients for coleslaw (tried a new recipe with celery, green peppers and white cabbage with a horse radish dressing) to go with the pulled pork.  No.1 home and we chatted for a while before the boys got back - No. 2 won by 1 point apparently?

Better day with no tears.  Onwards and upwards.
