Waiting

OH took No.1 to the RM today.  I waited at home and cleaned the house from top to bottom then went into the garden.  I picked some of the sweet pea pods to save them for next year.........reflecting on what next year would bring.

It was a difficult meeting with the consultant and not the news we were hoping for............ a quiet reflective, tearful afternoon and then JC and sister and Dad arrived mid evening (I rustled up some chilli and rice for them) and we chatted and it was almost normal.  Lots to think about and process and conversations to be had that we should not be having.  However it will still be a step at a time and a day at a time.
