Bug (Day 3017)
Off to town this morning to make a start on another bathroom re-fit. This one is a bit different from the usual job. A long term leak has damaged the chipboard flooring and the plasterboard walls. The insurers have said they will pay for the floor and walls to be repaired, but they want the existing sanitaryware re-used. I really didn't want the job and thought I had given a stupidly high estimate. Unfortunately it wasn't stupidly high enough.
I spent the morning stripping out the bath and basin and some of the plasterboard. The afternoon was spent making a start on stripping out the flooring. The worst of it just crumbled as I tried to pick it up. When I put some of the larger pieces outside, water ran out of them. This job is going to take a while.
Back home, Sigyn and I had a wander around the garden while we waited for my beautiful wife to come home. I got lucky with this shot of a bug on a flower.
