Sophie’s Sewing Lesson

Kate, Joel and Sophie are off on holiday later in the week and Sophie decided she wanted to spend a day with us before they go so we collected her after breakfast. 

It was a bit wet and miserable for swimming but Sophie wanted to sew her swimming badges on something so she can display them in her bedroom at home so Tess helped her choose some ribbon and and helped her sew the badges on. It took a couple of hours of concentrated effort but she stuck at it happily and was delighted with the results.

We had a break for lunch at our local Fondo the spent an hour kicking a ball around in the park before we took her home.

We were back in time for the Monday night Street Striders run with Chris.
