Summer Continues

Cosmo’s regular dog walker was unavailable today. I was called in as reserve. It was a nice summer day so it was fine for me. I think it might have been a tiny bit too warm for Cosmo but she did not seem unduly bothered. Especially while we were in the wood where there is plenty of shadow.

The Daily Star reports today there is a panther on the loose in Staffordshire, and carries a picture on the front page as proof. We can report there also seems to be one in Denman park in Westhill. We were lucky it did not pounce on us while. we were in the wood.

At the moment it seems to be more interested in following a woman. Maybe Cosmo will bark to scare it off. She usually barks at cats, though barking on its own does not always seem to be enough to have the desired effect.
