Pretty in white

I suppose these blossoms on the Mountain Ash bordering our front garden are actually cream and they are flowering in profusion at the moment.

They have been my view from the bedroom window for the last two mornings as I haven't been 100% which has sadly meant I wasn't able to walk with Corinthian column and Wendles56 in the Yorkshire dales today. Surely a perfect day for such a walk.

This may mean a bumper crop of berries on the tree later in the summer, like last year but that seemed to proclaim the long winter. All the flowers seem to be making up for the long winter and late spring so perhaps we should just enjoy them while we can and not worry too much about what is to come!
