Walked down to Princes Street to meet Tweedy for a leisurely coffee/breakfast and chat. We then wandered up to Cafe Royal for lunch(should have taken a photo of the interior). D went off to her meeting whilst yi did dome shopping snd waled up to thr Assembly Rooms to see Andre and Dorine. It was a very thoughtful treatment of a long marriage which ended with dementia,and all done in mime with large full head masks.
Walked back home via the newly opened steps ( haven’t seen this view if Waverley for a while)to meet D and had time for a quick drink before walking down to see Umbilical Brothers. This was a very clever, very witty Australian sketch show using lots if video technology and green screens etc. There was a problem with the technology at the beginning of the show but they dealt with it extremely well. A really good laugh out loud experience!
We went straight from there to Food. It was entertaining and though provoking but defied descriptions. Ridgeback will have had a good go though!
