Chose a couple more shows to go to. Much less choice on Mondays- not sure if that makes it easier or harder!
First one was at Summerhall. One man show centred around a plane hijacking in 2018 but also about making choices. Good , engaging actor but we were left wondering what it was really about . Went home for lunch and for D to do financial admin and then down to Pleasance Dome for ‘no place like home’, about gay bar culture. Well produced and acted with a violent and sad ending. Had a drink in Soderberg ( gin cocktail at 5 in the afternoon!) and then back to Summerhall for Hungry. Excellent show about a lesbian couple in catering trade from very different backgrounds. Funny, sad and thought provoking with brilliant actors. Just the sort of thing we like!
Straight to Festival theatre for Coppelia. Brilliant!! Loved it. Really creative production . Fantastic end to the day.
Had excellent Thai fish salad on the way home. Yum!
Sad news about P and Diesel when we got back
It rained most of the day though we had raincoats and umbrellas and so don’t get too wet
