Raspberry protection

The birds were having more than their fair share of the raspberry harvest so I decided to net. 

I really hate netting - this jute netting looks better than the horrible plastic ones but they're a nuisance on allotments. It's one of the reasons I've stopped growing brassica... Sometimes they can't be helped though.
