Summer dusk

I used to give up everything in the summer and spend every minute of my spare time on the plot. I never missed evenings like this one. 

But since my injury last summer, I've had to swim regularly and there's also the weekly pilates class so I'm rarely free for evening gardening. 

Tonight was a real treat! And I got a lot done too - watering, weeding, deadheading, harvesting and mulching with woodchips.
