Mystery plant

When I wasn’t sure what was happening yesterday, I booked annual leave for today, and as it all turned out, I was very pleased I had because I had the day to be around for Paul and to rest and recuperate a bit myself. Much needed!

The plant in the picture is not what I expected it to be. I’d planted some clematis seeds back in the spring, and just one came up, growing into this. I kept thinking it didn’t look like a clematis in any way, but seems that it was a foxglove seed that must have found its way into the seed tray and been growing all this time. It’s a whopper - looking forward to it flowering next year!
