Hell's Angels Or Heaven's Devils?
On This Day In History
1998: Bill Clinton testifies before the grand jury
Quote Of The Day
"So nothing, not piety, nor tears, nor wit, nor torment can alter what I have done. I must make my peace with that. I must also be at peace with the fact that the public consequences of my actions are in the hands of the American people and their representatives in the Congress."
(Bill Clinton)
Bonus Quote Of The Day
"The ridiculous and baseless indictment of me by the Biden administration’s weaponized Department of Injustice will go down as among the most horrific abuses of power in the history of our country. Many people have said that; Democrats have even said it. This vicious persecution is a travesty of justice.”
(Donald Trump)
Vive la difference. One politician feigns piety and repentance before continuing with his lecherous and dishonest ways. Another politician feigns outrage at the corrupt justice system exploiting his honesty whilst continuing with his lecherous and dishonest ways.
Is it too much to ask for honest, virtuous politicians?
Then again,
"You'll see your problems multiplied
If you continually decide
To faithfully pursue
The Policy Of Truth."
