Not swallows ...

.... house martins, and they've had a baby.

When I went into the sewing room this morning. I noticed that there was much more activity on the nest than previously.  I wondered if the eggs had hatched.

I did get some sewing done, but I was privileged to be able to watch the house martins feeding at least one baby.  There seems to be an adult staying in the nest most of the time, so perhaps there are more eggs to hatch.

Later we had another trip into New Ross, and on the hunt for tahini, found it in Tesco's.
