Washing

When we had our guttering replaced, the boss man told us that our garage roof was in need of some attention - areas where the sealant was missing and tiles were faded.  

Needs a good day to do a job like that - today was the day.  

First job was to wash it.  Then they did some repairs to the sealant where needed.  And finally they applied two coats of a coloured lacquer.  Did it really need doing, or did they sell us a job?  It certainly looks better, but is this just cosmetic?  And if it needed doing, does the house need it too?  That's rather more difficult - not even these guys would walk around on the top of our two storey house!

In other news, I made significant progress with the quilt, and completion no longer feels so daunting.
