Today is Black Cat Day
So you are treated to my Black Cat Misty
People have funny ideas about Black Cats, witchcraft, bad luck and some don't like them because they say they don't photograph well, but they do if you get them in the right light.
Misty has a regular pattern to her life. 4.30am she gets up with Paula who gets up to make herself a cuppa, and off she goes out to patrol her garden. 7.30am when we get up she is ready when called to come in for her snack. Then she stays in until we come back from walking Tanzy. Out again when we are back until about 11.30am when she comes to see if her Dinner is ready (her dinner time is 11.45) which is always her favourite Prawns, she eats half then off again for an hour or so when she's back to finish her dinner.. Late afternoon she's in for more snacks, off again until about 7pm when she comes in for the night. Off she goes up to bed then until about 10pm when she comes back down and spends time until our bedtime in the kitchen hunting for spiders. Off back up with us and her evening meal Felix cat food (which she eats along with Kibble during the night,) she then retires onto a windowsill until 4.30am again.
During the day she is always following us if we go into the garden, or she's chasing butterfly's or guarding frogs. Our big garden is her territory and I don't think she goes out of it because when you call or go out she is always there within seconds, except when she is asleep on the mobility scooter in the garage or the chair in the greenhouse
Unless it's raining and she stays in, she hates the rain.
That's my Black Cats day
