Rydal Hall Falls

An early drive into the lakes for a favourite walk around Rydal and, possibly Grasmere.

Started at Penny Rock Woods, then Rydal, the Caves, Rydal Hall (hoping for a cup of tea in the cafe but was too early), the coffin route and then tea at Dove Cottage.  Decided not to include a circuit of Grasmere today.

Home, lunch and feet up.  We are going out to the local pub this evening with neighbours and it will be good to catch up with them.
