Out For A Stroll
We had another restful day. After breakfast, we decided to ride bikes for awhile. This deer was completely calm when we approached her. She meandered across the road between us and onto the grassy area into the forest. I tried riding on a forest trail. Wasn’t crazy about the graveled downhill curves. Think I will stick to paved roads. Hubby wanted to check out the church we will be attending tomorrow. It is relatively new and not in the Garmin system yet. We found it easily. We continued our adventure, riding through a few more rural towns looking for lunch. Food establishments are almost as rare as Catholic Churches down here. We settled on “Yesterday’s” and it was a great choice. My rockfish sandwich was delicious. Millie was happy to see us. We’ll nap and read for the rest of this day. I am enjoying the cardinal, chickadee and titmouse that frequent the feeder. Squirrels have found the seed on the park’s picnic table. Only have to make potatoes and dinner will be ready. Life is good. Stay safe and have a wonderful weekend. Thanks for the visit. “Advice from a Deer: Be a good listener. Leap over obstacles. Know when to lay low. Tread lightly on the earth. Take time to browse. Look both ways before crossing the road. Don't pass the buck!” - Your True Nature
