Our women fighting in the world cup managed to win over the tough Australian team. Congratulations to both teams for giving us an exciting game.

The worldwide Triathlon IronMan has also taken place here today, they started swimming 3,8 km (2,4 miles) by 06:45, then cykled 180,2 km (112 mile) and last running 42,2 km (26,2 miles). The winner, a Swedish woman (only women pro's was allowed in Kalmar this year) came in at 8:47:03. The track closes at 23:30 so many are still out there in the dark. A total of approx. 2600 contestants started. 
My island is almost closed because the cykling mainly takes place here and many roads are closed off.
