A day in the life

Legend

I woke up at six thirty today so it was an early rise, no point in staring at the ceiling. After breakfas a friend of mine delivered some flat limestone rocks that will come in very handy when I'm planning to improve my stone-veranda when energy arrives. In the afternoon I went to a poetry reading in one of Kalmars parks, invited by my collegue Eva. She and a friend of hers are organising the readings and start the event with their poetry, then people from the audience are welcome to read their own poetry from the stage. This time seven others dared the quest. The oldest looked around 80 and the youngest maybe 20. Very interesting, personal and good poetry.

The evening was spent at one of the clubs where a Swedish guitar legend was playing, George "Jojje" Wadenius, who started his career in the late sixties with a group called "Made in Sweden" and ended up playing with "Blood sweat and tears" in America and working with "All" the big names as a studio guitarrist. He was a guest artist in a blues band, all old friends of his and we got a very relaxed, super competently played concert with lots of jokes, stories and an extatic audience overfilling all floor-space. Great day out.
